Brass Cap Cobalt Etched Kugel

Vintage meets Modern! Rich transparent cobalt blue colored hand-blown glass. Satin finished glass is laser etched with a beautiful scroll pattern, then topped with an vintage style pewter colored cap, brand embossed with "Ohio Kugel Co" and 5 Stars. Size is 3" Diameter. This product is intended to have an antiquarian look and timeworn feel. As if coming from Grandma's attic.

Brass Cap Kugels are handcrafted according to methods used during the 1800's. Antique kugels were all made with brass caps. The cap is designed to cover the pontil hole in the hand blown glass ball. A wire is inserted into the brass cap to make the loop for hanging.
