Kugels / Friendship Balls
Kugel is the German word for ball which is frequently used when asking for or describing an ornament. For our purposes, a kugel is an art glass, mouth blown ball used for decoration. All our Kugels are made with a glass loop at the top for hanging with a wire or ribbon.
Not all Kugels are round. Many Kugels are orb, bell, or diamond shaped. Most Kugels are made with colored glass, however some are hand decorated with special glass paints that are permanently baked on. Our Kugels range in size from 2 inches through 12 inches. Kugels are also know as Friendship Balls or Gazing Balls.
